Home extension of a traditional house in Nantes - 180 m2

This family of four purchased a period home in the Hauts Pavés Saint-Félix district of Nantes.
An older garden-side extension existed, but it was set lower than the main living space. Inside, the rooms were very compartmentalized, with no view of the garden.We designed a panoramic glass extension to bring light into the house and reconnect the interior with the outdoors—reviving the garden to breathe new life into the home.
